
Each year the ladies that I quilt with, The Quilting Cougars" have a challenge that must be at least pieced before the next quilt show. This one was a toughy. Fons and Portor had this on one of their disks. You take 5 fabrics each 1/2 yard each. Cut each one into 4" strips. One strip of each fabric is then cut as follows. 1 strip in 1/4 square, 1 strip in 1/2 square, 1 strip in 4" squares and the last strip of each fabric is used for what ever you need it to be used for. The assembly is up to you. This is not as easy as it might sound. This was a second attempt and it isn't perfect.
